A Cultural Visit to Havana

  A few years ago, I had the opportunity to travel to Cuba with an award-winning photographer on a cultural People-to-People trip. Floating in a Balloon Over Bagan

While visiting Bagan, an ancient city in Burma also known as Myanmar, I had the opportunity to photograph one of the most breathtakingly beautiful experiences of my life. I arose at 5 a.m. to meet the driver from Balloons Over Bagan, who picked us up at our hotel to take us to the site of the balloon launch. Malta’s Blue Grotto a Natural Wonder

As our ship dropped anchor in Valletta, the capital of Malta, I was hopeful that our days plan to visit the Blue Grotto would come to fruition.  I had always wanted to visit the Blue Grotto in Capri and never had the opportunity. We got off the ship and purchased a ticket for a Hop On Hop Off Bus that included the Blue Grotto on its route.  This was a bad idea; there were hundreds of people waiting to board each bus that pulled up.
